OPEL TIGRA TWIN TOP / VAUXHALL TIGRA TWIN TOP

The Tigra Twin Top is powered by a 1.4 ECOTEC 4-cylinder engine producing 66kW/90hp including enhanced TWINPORT technology. This helps improving its fuel economy. Next gasoline variant is a 4-cylinder again – 1.8 ECOTEC producing 92kW/125hp and that’s very good choice. Both engines meet EURO4 requirements and controlled wit a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.4 engine can be obtained also with an automated manual transmission Easytronic. Despite of the car is a convertible; it has enough space for luggage. It’s not only because of the roof enfolds vertically, but there’s also 70 liters behind the seats. So together it’s 510 liters. It’s a very solid value for a type of car like this one. This car is ready not only for great trips without roof, but for tuning too. Today it’s the tuning by Lester.

Basic modifications of the Tigra include side sills, front and rear lips, rear wing, special rearview mirrors... Next accessory is a polyurethane made cover on the hood for air-intake to the suction and also for off-take from engine space. An original stock grille with badge was removed and replaced with the „Lester-style“ grille, that is also in the big bottom opening in the central part of the front bumper. Added eyebrows of front headlights give phlegmatic look and are unusual.

The front lip is nicely designed and continues in the lines of central openings to the cooler. The side sills are perfect and match with overall design of the car. There’s one exhaust tip under the rear lip. Whole plastics have a distinctive sporting character also thanks to the vertical lines for better off-take and air-stability under the vehicle. The rear eyebrows are made in the Lester style too and fit perfectly. The car stands on 7x17“ Rocket rims and 205/45/17 Yokohama tires.

The accessory looks elegant, its sharp edges aren’t disturbing, but they look great in combination with stock parts of the body. The car has now more modern and sportier design.
